There’s no better way to choose a career than by gaining unexpected, first-hand experience that opens your eyes to how many people need the help you could offer. That’s my story at least. Out of tragedy came a passion and a commitment that has led me to where I am today.

The Catalyst

Let’s go back a bit, all the way back to the days when you could retire after 20 years of work. My father retired at 46 from his New York City job that gave him a pension. Thinking he had many years ahead of him, my parents made some financial decisions that ended up being unwise because, let’s face it, life is unpredictable. My dad suddenly passed away at 51, just 5 years after leaving his career. As the oldest of four kids, I became the one to walk my mom through financial matters and realized that having someone to rely on in this way brings incredible value and support.

Despite the sadness of the situation, I found that I thoroughly enjoyed helping my mom with this process and wanted to fill this same role for others. With this goal in mind, I earned my bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA in strategic management from Pace University. I became a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) practitioner and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ (CDFA®) and worked for a variety of large institutions.

But something was missing. Thinking back to my experience with my mom, I saw that it was the personal relationship that provided her the most peace of mind. She knew I understood her and cared deeply about her, and because of that, she knew she could rely on me. I wanted to translate that relational connection to my work, so in 2003, I started Infiniti Wealth Management with my business partner, George Waters, to provide my clients with a more effective, compassionate approach to their money.

Fast-Forward To Today

Now, with over 25 years of experience under my belt, I can say that relationships matter. Our clients are our biggest referral sources because they have seen the power of financial planning in achieving their goals and the importance of having a dedicated professional by your side for whatever life throws at you. That’s why I spend much of my time serving women going through a transition as well as pre-retiree and retiree couples who want to make sure they have all their ducks in a row as they enter and enjoy their retirement years.

There’s nothing more fulfilling than witnessing clients making planned, wise decisions and reaching their goals as a result. The confidence, peace, and happiness on their faces is the best part of this job! I come to work every day motivated to the max because I love what I do and am so thankful that I get to be a positive force in this part of others’ lives.
